It had been a long day and Lex glad to get some sleep. He'd been working on material for his class plus working on his assignments for the two language courses he was taking and his overactive brain was tired. So tired that he hadn't even considered looking for somewhere else to sleep or someone else to share his bed. Sometimes it was just too much effort. That and he didn't know where Lucifer lived. He made a note to fix that. Soon.

Before he fell asleep, Lex checked to make sure everything was in it's place first. Books were stacked by class on the floor in between his bed and his small makeshift desk. His clothes were neatly put away and his small collection of objects relating to a certain Russian were hidden for the moment in the top drawer. Once his obsessive need to see everything in its place was satisfied, he laid down with a soft contented sigh.

Dressed in absolutely nothing due to the heat, Lex curled up on his side, one arm under his pillow, and feel into a dreamless, restful sleep.

The night had gone well, and Saffron locked up the club once everyone had cleared out, thinking idly about where she wanted to go that night. She started out down the path, no destination in mind, which wasn't unusual - she'd been known on occasion to just let her feet take her wherever, not really paying attention to where she was going until she was arriving at the guy's hut.

Something had been tugging at her thoughts; had been, since late February, but even more so in the last month. Saffron had always had excellent willpower, and she'd definitely been putting it to good use in the past few months, but suddenly she found herself wondering why. Well, she knew why, but she'd never worried about those kinds of things before. Really, developing some small semblance of a conscience had been more of a nuisance to her than a help.

Saffron knew where she wanted to go - she wanted to go home.

It wasn't all that far to her hut from the club, and all was quiet when she slipped silently inside. Lex was like to be asleep, then. She slipped off her shoes in the main room before padding noiselessly into Lex's bedroom, where he was indeed sleeping, quite peacefully. Not for much longer, if Saffron had anything to do with it.

She hadn't danced that night, it being a guy night, but she still didn't have much on, and she slid out of her clothing easily. A sly smile tugged at her lips as she slipped smoothly beneath the covers, completely bare, and pressed up against Lex, her front to his back. "Wakey wakey," she purred, whispering into his ear.

One of the things that had changed since he'd left Anatoly was how Lex slept. Back home, in both Metropolis and Smallville, Lex had been a very light sleeper. When every other day someone was trying to kidnap or kill you, it helped to be able to wake quickly. It even helped when his father decided to surprise him at an ungodly hour, which was sadly more often then one would think. But sleeping beside Anatoly had been...safe. For the first time in his life. So Lex had fallen from habit and had enjoyed waking gradually while threading his hand through brown curls and Russian words whispered in his ear. It had been close to heaven.

Now that Lex was sleeping alone again, when he slept alone that is, he was back to waking quickly. It showed how comfortable he was with Helen that he hadn't awoken when she walked in the room instead of when she joined him in bed. Still, he blinked a few times trying to figure out what was going on as his mind caught up to the situation "Helen?" He asked, slightly confused as he rolled onto his back next to her. "What's going on?" Not that he was going to complain but he'd been flirting with Helen for months to no avail, so this was slightly unexpected. "Is everything okay?"

"Everything's just fine, honey," Saffron replied softly, sliding her palm across his chest. "And you're a smart cookie. I think you can figure out what's going on." She was already starting to wonder why she'd resisted for so long.

Oh, Lex had figured it out. He was just wondering why now? "Do I dare ask what made you finally give in?" He asked as his hands came up to stroke her arms and shoulders, fingers idly playing with the ends of the red hair that touched them.

Saffron tilted her head slightly to one side, unsurprised by Lex's inclination to want to know. "You could ask," she said. "Or you could just accept it and kiss me instead."

It shouldn't have been a surprise, given Lex's constant thirst for understanding anything and everything. But he trusted Helen and knowing he could always ask again later, Lex did as she asked and kissed her, pulling her closer by the shoulders as one hand moved to tangle in her hair.

She kissed Lex back gladly, her hands moving to grip his shoulders as she shifted and positioned herself half on top of him. "Good choice," she said against his lips, pausing just long enough to draw breath before she kissed him again.

"I am a genius you know." Lex said in reply between another set of kisses, as the hand that wasn't in her hair moved to circle her waist, keeping her close even as she adjusted her position.

"That you are," Saffron agreed. She moved again as they kissed, this time drawing her knees up towards her chest as she slid her leg over him, and ended straddling him. "Definitely a genius." She broke the kiss slowly, sucking on his lower lip just a little, before she started to move along his jaw and down his neck, kissing and licking and using just a little bit of teeth for effect.

Shifting with her, Lex found a comfortable place on his back so he could look up at her. He returned the kisses until she moved away and then he gave in for the moment, wanting to see what Helen had had in mind when crawling into his bed. Lifting his chin, small groans escaped his throat at the rough kisses against his neck. He gripped her hair lightly in kind, not hard just enough for her to feel it. The other roamed, wanting to touch as much of her as he could reach.

She tilted her hips into him just a little, just enough to give him a little taste, before she continued working her way downward. Her hands slid lightly along his sides as she made her slow progress, halting once she'd gotten low enough to press her lips near the point of his hipbone. She looked up at Lex then, smiling, and curled a hand lightly around him.

He watched her, breathing shallowly as he lifted his head to continue to do so as she went lower. The hand in her hair loosened it's grip as she moved to the edge of his reach but he kept his fingers lightly tangled as he refused to picture brown curls instead. His breathing hitched as she touched him, his tongue coming out to lick his lips in expectation, his mind already racing with what he would do in reciprocation.

If Saffron thought back on the past few months, she knew this was a long time coming. So now that it was happening, she wasn't about to rush things. There was a time for passionate frenzy and a time for slow indulgence, and this was definitely the latter.

She teased him a little at first, using light touches of her lips and tongue, thumb and forefinger wrapped around him. She held back long enough to maybe make him go a little crazy, and then took him into her mouth with a low hum of satisfaction.

Lex all for slow indulgence. It wasn't often when he had a partner where he'd indulge in such a thing with, trust issues totally aside, and he wanted to enjoy this rare moment just as much as Helen.

He hissed softly through his teeth at the teasing, a skill cultivated from a experience with a Russian who loved to tease. Try as he might though, he couldn't stop his hips from twitching, wanting to buck towards and take control of the situation. And between that and Helen's experienced teasing, Lex was practically trembling when she finally took him in her mouth. Finally, a low groan escaped his throat and the hand in his tightened in appreciation.

She worked him expertly, enjoying every moment, drawing it out. Working slowly and deliberately, Saffron brought Lex closer and closer to the edge, but before he could reach completion she released him, smiling as she slid her hands along his hips and began to kiss her way back up his body.

"Evil woman." Lex practically purred with a smirk despite his obvious discomfort at being left in such a state as she moved back up. As she came higher, Lex drew his hand out of her hair and set both of them to drawing patterns with the tips of his finger nails down her shoulders and arms, whatever he could reach at the moment, as if drawing out the plot he'd formed in his head as revenge.

But first, once she was close enough, he claimed her lips in a violent kiss.

Saffron laughed softly, and she had just enough time to reply, "You love it and you know it," before Lex kissed her but good. She responded in kind, moving against him as she let out a soft moan of pleasure that was muffled by the crush of his lips against hers.

Once they pulled back to draw in much needed breath, he smirked slightly and replied, "Takes one to know one. It's why we get along so well." And between them, it was oddly a compliment. Settling herself beneath Lex, Saffron wrapped a leg around him, slowly drawing her foot up until her leg was almost around his waist. "Mmmm, very true," she murmured in agreement between kisses. Her arms looped around his neck, one hand moving upward to slide a palm up the smooth back of his head.

Ducking his head to her shoulder, Lex just took a moment to enjoy the feel of her hair against his head. Oh, he didn't miss his own hair, but he enjoyed the feel of it on others. His fingers ran through it, tangling lightly as he placed soft but biting kisses on neck, then her shoulder, tracing down her collar bone to between her beautiful breasts. He glanced up at her for a moment before lightly kissing his way to one nipple which he began to slowly play with using his tongue.

"I think I'd have to agree." Lex said sleepily, more into her hair then out loud. He rolled away for a moment to remove the condom, then turned to curl up with her in a more comfortable position, arms going back around her waist. "I'm glad you finally gave in." He added, his voice soft and thick.
